What is the role?

We’re looking for a social media strategy expert to develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to raise Alloy’s brand awareness, engagement, and website traffic.

 

You’ll have significant responsibility for managing all of our social media accounts in a cohesive way, and work against clear 90-day and 6-month goals. This is a remote role.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a social media strategy based on data and consumer insights—with a focus on engaging with and supporting consumers throughout their journey
  • Leverage Alloy’s marketing strategies to build out a monthly and daily social media content calendar
  • Manage and execute all day-to-day social media posts and operations across Instagram, Twitter, and secondary social platforms, leveraging a deep understanding of the Alloy brand and voice
  • Partner with Alloy’s creative team (eg copywriters, designers) to develop social media creative assets that will drive consumer interaction
  • Conduct outreach to social media creators and influencers, developing relationships and working on one-off and ongoing partnerships to create engaging content experiences
  • Identify, lead, and execute against opportunities to create rapid response and other major social media moments
  • Work with the Customer Success team to develop protocols for addressing user questions on social media
  • Use analytics tools to gauge the success of social media campaigns and provide weekly reporting on key metrics and learnings
  • Stay up to date with social media trends, best practices, and technologies

 

 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct experience in professional social media strategy
  • In-depth knowledge of social media best practices for Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook, and other platforms
  • Results oriented and comfortable working in 2-week sprints and against KPIs
  • Comfortable in a high-growth startup environment
  • Willing to work on a brief take-home assignment as part of the interview process. This will be an exercise in which you’ll be able to share how you’d help us tackle certain projects in the role
