Tia is the next generation women's healthcare platform bringing empathy and innovation together to help women thrive. Our interdisciplinary teams of doctors, designers & data enthusiasts see first-hand how women's needs have historically been radically underserved and underestimated. We are on a mission to build a new, distinctly female model of care from the ground up, online and offline.

Tia's ecosystem of products, tools, and services — from the Tia app, to TiaMD (our provider product), to the Tia Clinic — is an interconnected human-centered approach to care that focuses on listening, learning and deeply caring for women. We are a "one-stop-shop" including gynecology, primary care, mental health, and wellness services. We are on a mission to create a "whole person" approach to healthcare and help women make independent and informed healthcare decisions with confidence and ease.

Role Title: Business Operations and Strategy Associate

Role Summary:

We are looking for an analytically-driven and mission-oriented professional to join the Business Operations and Analytics team at Tia. The Business Operations and Analytics team is a high-impact, high-visibility team that works cross-functionally across the entire organization and is responsible for determining our business strategy. As a member of our team, you will work directly with Tia leadership to understand the levers that drive our business,  manage strategic, data-driven workstreams, and lead special projects.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage reporting structures to serve as sources of truth for metric reporting across the business using Tia’s BI tools
  • Own strategic analysis that can be leveraged by leadership to determine Tia’s roadmap for business planning
  • Develop Tia’s analytics solution to streamline our data reporting processes and bring together internal and external data sources
  • Serve as a trusted partner for leadership stakeholders and provide strategic insight to drive their business area
  • Create financial and operational models and run scenario analysis for key business decisions
  • Play a key role in defining Tia’s business priorities and strategy quarter over quarter
  • Become an expert on all of Tia’s key business metrics to proactively identify opportunities for analytical insights and operational improvement

About you:

  • 2+ years of experience in management consulting, business insights, or data analytics
  • You have experience pulling and joining large data sets and performing analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R
  • You are able to create structure in ambiguity, and don’t let a lack of definition stop you from moving things forward, whether that’s a lack of complete data or an ever changing organization
  • You enjoy collaboration & are comfortable working with senior leaders
  • You’re an independent worker who can run against problems with relatively little direction, knows when and how to escalate effectively if blocked and when to triangulate
  • Preferably a B.S. / B.A. in finance, business, accounting, economics, statistics, engineering, mathematics, operations research or other quantitative major

Skills

  • Highly Proficient in MS Excel, Powerpoint
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and cross-functional communication
  • Highly organized & able to juggle multiple work streams at once
  • Nice to have: Proficiency in SQL and BI tools (Metabase, Periscope, Tableau, etc)
Benefits
  • Unlimited vacation
  • Free Tia membership
  • Competitive stock option package
  • $300 one-time WFH stipend
  • $50/month phone and internet reimbursement
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits
  • 401k program (no matching at this time)
  • Top of the line 15” Macbook Pro
  • Travel stipend for team off-sites

This position may require attendance at company and team off-sites and is subject the Company’s vaccine requirement, as permitted by law and subject to reasonable accommodation.
